Small communities have tight budgets which often limit their ability to acquire data or narratives needed to seek out grants. Baselines resources for personnel in combination with community engagement continue to dwindle, making it ever more challenging to apply for critical funding. Creative ideas are needed to accurately collect, analyze and report of data needed to apply for grants, demonstrate intent to develop revitalization plans that are place specific and energize communities which become crestfallen. This round table discussion aims share and generate new ideas to help get over the intertwined hurdles of limited resources and igniting community enthusiasm to generate successful first steps in making lasting and meaningful social and economic changes to these town, villages and neighborhoods.
